70x50 cm.
Acrylic on canvas.
Scanned and pieced together.

I was flipping through the pages of a book containing old Swedish movie posters the other day. Some of that old artwork really speaks to me, and inspired by it I suddenly remembered a line from the song "Do You Love Me [part 2]" by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds:

"There's a man in the theatre with girlish eyes
Who's holding my childhood to ransom
On the screen there's a death,
there's a rustle of cloth
And a sickly voice calling me handsome"

For some reason that always reminded me of Jack the Ripper. All of this, together, and some additional elements I won't go into here, resulted in this painting.

A gift for ~NephrenKa.
I hope you get your driver's license. Good luck, my love.

Full view for details, people.

I thought of Jack the Ripper, for some reason. I like the texture on his back.

How do you get holy water? Boil the hell out of it?
Did you read the description?

Thank you for your comment.
